86 Surah Al – Tariq -The Nightcommer

In the name of Allah, the entirely Merciful, the especially Merciful

1) Allah swears by the sky and the nightly star
2) And what can make you realize what the nightly star is?
3) ˹It is˺ the star of piercing brightness.
4) There is a careful watcher over every human being who records all their actions.
5) So let man think over what he was created from.
6) He was created from a water gushing forth,
7) That comes out from between the backbone and the ribs.
8) Surely Allah has full Power of bringing humans back ˹to life˺
9) On the Day when all secrets will be made open.
10) on that day men will have neither power nor ˹any˺ helper.
11) Allah swears by the sky which gives rain again and again
12) And the earth which cracks open (with the growth of trees and plants).
13) Surely, the Qur’ân separates the truth from the false.
14) and it is not a joke.
15) The disbelievers are plotting evil plans
16) But Allah is also planning.
17) So leave the disbelievers to themselves. Deal gently with them for a while.

Fatima, (May Allah be pleased with her) the Queen of Jannah leads a simple and humble life in this world. Her husband Ali, and her sons Hassan and Hussain (May Allah be pleased with them) are dearest to the Prophet of Allah, Muhammad (Peace be upon him). When the two boys unfortunately fall sick, the worried parents vow to fast for three days to ask Allah to grant them health.

Things become challenging when right at the time to break the first fast, a needy person knocks at the door and requests the noble family to share their food. This pattern repeats on the second day and third.
