96 Surah Al- Alaq – The Clot

In the name of Allah, the entirely Merciful, the especially Merciful

1) Read, ˹O Prophet (saw) in the Name of your Lord Who created everything
2) He created humans out of a clot of blood
3) Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous
4) Who has taught ,taught men how to write with a pen.
5) He taught humans what they didn’t know.
6) But man crosses the limits by increasing in disbelief and sins.
7) because he is proud in thinking that he does not need anyone
8) But surely to Allah everyone will return
9) Have you seen the man who stops
10) a slave of Allah when he prays?
11) What if this slave is upon the straight path
12) And encourages right actions? Would this man still stop him from praying?
13) If he continues to reject the truth and turns away.
14) doesn't this man know that Allah sees him and hears his words?
15) If he doesn’t stop then Allah will surely drag him by the hair on his sinful forehead.
16) Then let him call his people to ask for help.
17) Allah will call the soldiers of Hell to deal with him!
18) No! Don’t obey him O Prophet! but continue to prostrate and come near to Allah.

Abbaad Ibn Bishr (may Allah be pleased with him) stands guard as the Muslim army takes a rest for the night. All is calm and quiet and Abbaad decides to offer Salah in the peaceful night. However, things take a turn when he is shot by an arrow in the middle of his prayers.

Fatima, (May Allah be pleased with her) the Queen of Jannah leads a simple and humble life in this world. Her husband Ali, and her sons Hassan and Hussain (May Allah be pleased with them) are dearest to the Prophet of Allah, Muhammad (Peace be upon him). When the two boys unfortunately fall sick, the worried parents vow to fast for three days to ask Allah to grant them health.
