81 Surah At-Takwir – The Over-throwing
In the name of Allah, the entirely Merciful, the especially Merciful
- When the sun will be folded up,
- and when the stars fall down,
- and when the mountains are blown away,
- And when a mommy camel carrying a baby camel in her belly is left alone
- And when wild beasts are gathered together
- and when the seas are set on fire
- And when the souls are put back into their bodies,
- and when baby girls, who were buried alive, are asked
- Why was she killed?
- And when the books of actions of men are laid open
- And when the sky is peeled away from its place
- and when the Hellfire is lit up, fiercely
- and when Paradise is brought near
- On that Day, everyone will know what actions they have brought with them from the world
- Allah swears by the planets that disappear during the night and appear during the night
- And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves.
- And by the night as it departs
- and by the morning when it starts breathing,
- Surely, the Quran is the Word of Allah delivered by the Angel JIbrail, who is an honourable angel
- He is full of power and has a high rank near Allah who is the Lord of the Throne
- The angel JIbrail is obeyed by all other angels in the heavens, and he is trustworthy.
- And Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is not a madman
- And he did see the angel Jibrail on the clear horizon
- And he does not hide that which is revealed to him by Allah
- And the Quran is not the word of the Shaytan, who was thrown out of heaven
- So where are you going?
- Surely this ˹Quran˺ is only a reminder to the whole world
- For those who wish to follow the straight way
- And you cannot wish to follow the straight way except if Allah – the Lord of all the worlds – wishes the same for you.
